WILLETTON JUNIOR CHESS CLUB TUESDAY CLASS

Chess clubs are a fantastic way to develop your child’s chess skills in a fun and supportive environment. Chess has been proven to improve logic, critical thinking and memory as well as helping to develop resilience, social and emotional skills, all while having a fun time with like minded peers. Total Chess clubs are designed to teach the fundamentals of chess in a way where students have an opportunity to practice what they have learned in fun, friendly tournament games.

After-school chess club at Rostrata Primary School will continue in Term 2 on Tuesday 29th of April and continuing every Tuesday (except on the Pupil Free Day on 3rd June) until 1st of July. The chess club will be run by Dennis Holland of Total Chess from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

The club will consist of a short lesson to teach chess skills and tactics, a tournament game where participants can win awards at the end of the term.

The term fee will be for 9 weeks will be $180, which is $20 per session. Family discounts: 2 children – $35 per week (Total – $315), 3 children – $45 per week (Total – $405)

Online registrations is now the only way to register through the chess clubs page on the Total Chess website.

Total Chess requires that your child be picked up from the venue at the end of the chess club, no later than 4:40pm.
