2023 First Blitz Junior GP Tournament – Saturday 25 March 2023

Divisions
Two Divisions: Under 15, Under 10 (ages as at 31 December 2022)
(Divisions are based on players age unless otherwise advised by tournament organiser)
Format
All divisions – 7 round swiss, 10 minutes flagfall, each player gets 10 mins to make all their moves per game. All players will play 7 games no matter if they win, lose or draw a game.
Schedule: Saturday 25 March 2023 – 3pm to 5:40pm followed by trophy presentations
Entry Fee
$25 first child, $20 each subsequent child.

Enter event before Friday 24 March 2023 using the registration form below. Entries on the day will not be accepted. Please entry early as numbers are capped.

Prizes
In each division, trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Dark Horse Trophy and Rising Star Trophy will be awarded. Merit medals will also be awarded for other performances of merit.
Photos
Taking photos is allowed at the chess tournament. If you taking photos of other children, it is your responsibility to ask permission to do so from their parent/guardian.
Supervision
Total Chess Tournaments are not drop and go events. Please organise appropriate supervision for your child as Total Chess organisers are too busy running the tournament to constantly supervise your child.
